KABUKIZA Gallery Trip in Higashi-ginza!!

Kabuki is one of the Japanese traditional performance which involves elaborately designed costumes, dancing, music, and arguably most importantly,the exaggerated actions performed by the actors.

KABUKIZA Theatre (歌舞伎座) is very famous theater for KABUKI in Tokyo.

It actually offers not only KABUKI Theater, but also nice Gallery! This time we will go to watch the KABUKIZA Gallery together!

KABUKIZA Gallery offers the rare chance to see real Kabuki costumes and props up close. It also has plans to showcase precious recordings of past performances. The cultural facility is designed to convey the attractions of Kabuki even to visitors who have never yet watched a show.

After visiting the gallery, we will go to 'KOBIKICHO-HIROBA（木挽町広場）' which is the shopping area. You can buy Kabuki goods, bonsai, tenugui (Japanese towel) and so on. Let's enjoy shopping as much as you like!

After that, we will visit the famous temple in Tokyo " Tsukiji Honganji Temple " !
Finally we look at the "Tsukiji market" of the famous seafood market! This meetup will be finished near 'TSUKIJI SHIJOU Station'.

歌舞伎座トリップ in 東銀座

日本の伝統的な舞台芸能といえば歌舞伎!!そして、その代表的な劇場が銀座にある「歌舞伎座」です。

歌舞伎の鑑賞チケットは値段が高かったり取りにくかったりするため、歌舞伎に興味を持ちつつも歌舞伎座に訪れたことがないという方は多いのではないでしょうか?

しかし、実はこの歌舞伎座は、歌舞伎鑑賞をせずとも楽しめる施設なのです!!

★歌舞伎座ギャラリー★
歌舞伎の舞台に登場するあれこれを見るだけでなく、じかに触ったり、動かしたり、音を出したりして楽しめます。歌舞伎でたびたび活躍する馬の背に乗ってみたり、『鈴ヶ森』の駕籠に乗ってトリップしたり、実際の舞台で使われている道具に触ることも可能です。

★屋上庭園★
歌舞伎座の上に造られた屋上庭園には、歌舞伎座の歴史を刻んだ瓦や先人の碑が展示されています。また、芝生が植えられた公園はちょっとした都会のオアシスでもあります。

また、地下には歌舞伎に関するおみやげ品や盆栽、手ぬぐいといった日本みやげを売る店舗が集まった「木挽町広場」という商店街もあります!!

歌舞伎座を出た後は東京都内における代表的な寺院の一つ｢築地本願寺｣を見に行き、
鮮魚と活気で有名な｢築地場外市場｣をぶらりと見て歩きましょう♪
最後は都営大江戸線「築地市場」駅での解散となります！
