Hydrangea(Ajisai) Walking in Kamakura

Let's go to Kamakura area to see the beautiful hydrangea!!
The repair of big Buddha has been completed in March, so don't miss out the chance to see new Buddha!

[About Walking Course]

Gokurakuji Station 極楽寺駅
It's chosen as one of the best 100 stations in the Kanto region.

Gokurakuji temple 極楽寺
You will see not only hydrangeas but also other types of plants.
Many types of beautiful flowers can be seen in all seasons here.
↓
Joju-in 成就院
Joju-in is established in the Kamakura Period, the temple has a long and distinguished history. Vivid hydrangea will greet us there.
From Joju-in, you could enjoy watching the sea of Yuigahama too!

Chikaramochiya 力餅家
It's a sweets shop which has over 300 years history. Many famous Japanese sweets shop followed the shop. "KenGoro Chikara Mochi" is the specialty of the shop. It's a sweet rice cakes with bean jam. You should try this traditional Japanese rice cakes!!

Gorei Shrine 御霊神社
Here is a photo spot at which you can take a photo of train and hydrangea together.

Hase temple 長谷寺
It's one of the leading scenic spot in Kamakura. Let's enjoy watching Hydrangea to your heart content! You could see the sea and the Kamakura city together too.

Kotoku-in 高徳院
Let's drop at the Kotoku-in to see the beautiful Great Buddha which is just finished the repairs in March of this year!

Hase Station 長谷駅
There are a lot of souvenir shops near Hase station.
We will finish this meetup here!
